At the conference we were asked how frequently the MapPoint streets are updated. Here’s part of the answer:

Map Update – MapPoint - The construction sites for MapPoint and Streets and Trips were updated on February 5. Click here to update MapPoint with the latest construction information.

Map Update – Pocket Streets - The street maps for major cities in North America were updated in January. If you’re creating MapPoint maps for your PDA (or your exec’s handheld), download the latest streets from the Microsoft Download site.

MapPoint Merge to Word – For Power Users Only

This is interesting – a macro (written in VB) that merges MapPoint maps into Word mail merge documents. Before you try this, you should be comfortable creating and running macros in Word, and editing them in the Visual Basic Editor. We haven’t tried it yet, so let us know how you used it. Download the macro from the Microsoft site; download the documentation on the macro from the Microsoft Developer’s Network (MSDN).
